Here are my shots on target and shots on target conceded tickers for Gameweek 26.
The tickers list all the Gameweek 30 fixtures, but there may only be four Premier League games played that week once the FA Cup fifth round has been resolved. The six-gameweek average is a five-gameweek average for the four teams with blank fixtures in Gameweek 27.
In Gameweek 25 the ticker overestimated the average number of shots on target per team by 0.32. There were 15 teams within two shots on target of the ticker value, including eight within one shot on target. The range was 5.52.
West Bromwich Albion and Watford both failed to trouble their opposition goalkeeper to make a save that mattered, leaving them 3.13 and 2.53 below the ticker value respectively. Southampton did register two shots on target against West Ham United, but that still left the Saints 3.16 below the ticker value.
Manchester United had a good week against Chelsea. The Red Devils hit seven shots on target, 2.36 above the ticker value. After a dip last week, Newcastle United returned to their recent positive ways with seven shots on target against West Brom, which was 2.29 above the ticker value.
